I wouldn't call digg users stupid. It seems to me, that the way digg functions, looks very much like real-life networks. So I hope they are not stupid :)

		<description>Interesting Analysis. It's always bugged me that in order to really get views on those kind of sites, you have to have a million friends. The networking portion is a necessity to your sites being viewed.
That's one of the things I like about StumbleUpon. You can network, and it will help you get more views, but even if you don't go out and make a bunch of friends, the sites you stumble can still get a significant traffic boost.</description>
